JACKSONVILLE, FL – As the inaugural PGA TOUR Champions Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K at Timuquana Country Club approaches, fans are reminded of several key competition, fan experience and community impact initiatives for the October 8-10 event that will bring the legends of the game to the greater Jacksonville area.

COMPETITION: With the Ryder Cup set to tee off later this week, the field at the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K will include leadership from both teams as U.S. Team Captain Steve Stricker and four of his captain’s assistants in Fred Couples, Davis Love III, Jim Furyk and Phil Mickelson, as well as European Captain Padraig Harrington and Robert Karlsson have all committed to play.

Padraig, who will make his PGA TOUR Champions debut at the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K, has made six Ryder Cup appearances as a player (1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010) with Europe winning four of those six appearances. He is a six-time PGA TOUR winner, 20-time winner internationally and three-time major championship winner.

Stricker has three appearances as a player in the Ryder Cup in 2008, 2010 and 2012 as well as three appearances as an assistant captain. He has recorded 12 PGA TOUR wins and 7 PGA TOUR Champions victories including the 2020 Bridgestone Senior Players Championship.

Furyk, Couples, Love and Mickelson have a combined nine major wins and have combined 32 Ryder Cup appearances as players. Mickelson has been a part of every Ryder Cup dating back to 1995.

FAN EXPERIENCE: Fans can expect an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for those who love the game, but also for families, college football fans or those more interested in a social atmosphere. Two locations that will surely draw all fans and are open to general admission ticket holders are the Publix Tailgate Village and the Circle K ParTee Porch.

The Publix Tailgate Village, an open-air shaded venue located between the 17^th and 18^th holes, will be a primary fan gathering destination featuring:

• MShack and other local food trucks
• Signature craft cocktails including Tito’s Transfusion, Unusual Lemonade with Hendrick’s, Glenfiddich Old Fashion and more!
• Michelob Ultra Beer Garden featuring additional local Florida craft beers
• Two large videoboards and numerous other televisions with college football & NFL games
• Tailgate games, activities, picnic tables & more!

Community Impact – Military Appreciation – The team at Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K, our sponsors, our volunteers and the players all have a profound respect for the men and women of the military and their families. Throughout the week, the event will host a number of different events and initiatives to show that appreciation and respect for those who serve, including:

Darius Rucker headlines The Furyk Foundation Concert presented by SRS Distribution, a salute to our service men and women with Scotty McCreery – the concert which will take place on Tuesday, October 5 at Daily’s Place. This year’s concert will be a salute to our service men and women, with 1,000 tickets provided to our military courtesy of SRS Distribution and another 1,000 being donated by a collection of other tournament partners and sponsors. VyStar Patriots Outpost and military ticket policy Birdies for the Brave and the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K will provide Active Duty, Military Reserve, National Guard, Military Retirees, Military Veterans, Military Spouses and/or dependents with complimentary tickets to the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K (Friday – Sunday), courtesy of VyStar Credit Union.

The VyStar Patriots Outpost will be located at Hole #16 and is open to Military Ticketholders. The venue will include exclusive complimentary hospitality for military, veterans and their families with complimentary food & beverage, views of the pivotal 16th hole, and an opportunity to share camaraderie with other military community members.

OPERATION SHOWER supported by PNC and Circle K – Operation Shower exists for a simple reason: to recognize the military moms and military families who serve our country. Operation Shower provides joyous — awesome — baby showers going above and beyond and then beyond that!

On Sunday, October 3, at the Timuquana Country Club Pool Area, tournament co-host Tabitha Furyk as well as Karen Feagins, VP Client and Community Relations for PNC Bank, will host approximately 40 “military moms” for an afternoon of respite and gifting to show them the appreciation we have for their service and sacrifice.

On Saturday, October 9, immediately following the end of play, the tournament will host a military appreciation ceremony. Stay tuned as there is more news to come on the ceremony itself.
