Sustainability Efforts

In partnership with Constellation Energy, the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K is working to make the Earth more sustainable and reduce the carbon footprint! Fans can visit the Driving Sustainability powered by Constellation activation on the 18th tee, and for each pledge made, the Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree at Elgin Air Force Base as part of the Time for Trees initiative. Eglin Air Force Base spans nearly 500,000 acres of the Florida Panhandle. Along with being a key military training headquarters, it’s also one of the most biodiverse areas in the country and contains the largest remaining contiguous stand of longleaf pine trees in the world.

Reusable Aluminum Cups

Ball aluminum reusable cups are available to fans throughout the course. These logoed cups are an upgrade from the typical plastic or Styrofoam cups used at sporting events and will not only be recyclable but will also be a lasting souvenir for tournament guests.

Refillable Water Stations

Fans are invited to bring their own refillable bottles with free water stations located throughout the golf course to cut down on waste as well as provide fans with complimentary drinking water for the event. Refillable water stations will be located at the Publix Tailgate Village near the 18th tee, at the Family Zone near the Circle K ParTee Porch, in between the 9th and 18th greens and near the Duval Gate entrance at the driving range. There is no limit on the size of the water bottle; however, it must empty upon arrival at security.

Solar Powered Charging Stations

We are excited to offer solar-powered charging stations for fans to keep their cell phones charged, located throughout the course.

Digital Ticketing & Spectator Guide

Ticketing and spectator guides are published digitally as opposed to paper copies to reduce printing and paper onsite.

Green Team

40-50 students from the Nease High School DECA group & Flagler College have formed a “Green Team” to educate, inform & encourage fans to recycle onsite and participate in sustainability initiatives. They will help with messaging prior to the event on the website, social media, and in vendor communications, as well as present findings after the event.
